I try to maintain balance in my life by engaging in various hobbies and activities: travel, outdoors, music, a good book, photography, and film/media.

Below is a summary of my training and credentials. Be sure to ask if you have any other questions.

*Licensed Psychologist by the State of Montana
*Doctor of Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program and internship
*Practicing in Bozeman since 2000
*Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor
*Member of the American Psychological Association
*Member of APA’s Society for the Study of Men & Masculinity
*Presenter on various mental health issues at conferences in the US, Canada and UK

I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. I have lived and practiced in Bozeman since 2000 and am a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Montana.

I work collaboratively with my clients to assist them in reaching their goals and help them fully explore their issues of concern, including patterns in relationships, behaviors, thoughts, or emotions. I also help clients identify their strengths and build on positive strategies they are already using. I work in an informal, yet professional style, and invite my clients to provide input on the counseling process to ensure they're getting what they need. I tend to utilize strategies and techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, and Psychodynamic practices and tailor my approach to best meet your needs and goals.
